About Legacy Arts and Film Lab

Legacy arts and film lab (k) limited was registered as a private company in 2015. The aim is to promote and nurture talent in the arts and film.  This is with a focus on incubation of creative youth ideas and creating an avenue to use theatre & film and the arts for social change.  The company holds periodic film and theatre workshops on performance art and film techniques. The company does video productions, produces feature films, documentaries, theatre productions and stage Musicals. Legacy Arts and Film lab also hosts the Annual Lake International PanAfrican Film festival (LIPFF) which takes places in November every year since 2016, being uniquely the African Festival for Films in African Languages. The company runs Legacy kids club and the Smart Teens Forum and organises the Necklace forum, which, addresses Gender Based Violence through art and forum talks.
